Former Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy to discuss current national mental health policy and his latest book, Profiles in Mental Health Courage.

Allyson Hansen, CEO/Executive Director of the Illinois Medical District Commission will moderate a discussion with the Congressman on the mental health and substance use treatment crises our nation continues to face, and his vision for the landscape of the future.

As the lead sponsor of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, the Congressman will discuss how parity is the lever to true health equity as the current administration prepares to roll-out the new federal parity rule.
