The 2020 holiday season is just around the corner, and many people are looking forward to spending time with family and friends. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic is still surging, with 40 more than states reporting an increase in cases.
Additionally, the US reached two grim milestones this week when it surpassed 9 million total cases since the beginning of the pandemic. The two-week span between 8 and 9 million cases is the fastest the country has added one million cases since the start of the pandemic.
