Chicago Access Network Television – better known as CAN TV – is an invaluable partner that is proud to call the IMD home. CAN TV was created in 1983 to provide a platform for community usage of Chicago’s cable television system for civic, cultural, health, educational and social service purposes.
On April 25, 2018, CAN TV commemorated its 35th Anniversary as an invaluable public access center and resource to Chicago residents and non-profit groups, offering multi-media training, video equipment, studio recording/editing facilities and television channel time for residents seeking an avenue to express their creativity, thoughts and ideas to a wide public audience.
CAN TV will celebrate this milestone throughout the rest of the year. Congratulations to CAN TV for being a wonderful partner to the IMD and surrounding communities, and for empowering Chicagoans to communicate our perspectives, views and interests.
Here’s wishing CAN TV continued success in the years to come!
