The Illinois Medical District launched its 2023 Bike and Pedestrian Safety Action Plan in February. We would like to invite you to join us for a short walk through parts of the IMD to introduce you to the project, hear from you about your perspectives traveling around the IMD, and learn how to be involved in the study.

We will meet at the Polk Street/Wood Street intersection near the Atkins Medicinal Plants Garden at 12:00 p.m.

The planned walk is about 0.8 miles and will cover parts of Polk Street, Damen Ave, Taylor Street, and Wood Street. We are planning a slow pace and that the walk may take up to an hour with planned stops for discussion.
